This semifinal worth being called Big as it was pretty close game where Beamer snatched the 3 Run Win.
A complete Team Show with the Bat Lead By Sudeesh along with Kalyan and the 'Marathon Man' Harsha which help Beamers to put 127/9 on the board.
Vinatge had great start and were appeared to be the Winning this game.
Match went to the Last over with 9 to win With some excellent bowling by Vijay,Sudeesh and Kalyan.
Seasoned Campaingner Kalyan had the responsibilty to Do this for the team and He delivered it by just giving away 3 runs and taking a crucial wicket.
Vintage lost 3 wickets in that last over which include 2 runouts.

Beamers finished their journey of this Summer Season with The Same Team they started and in the same dominating fashion.
Falcons went on to Bat first and being restricted by some strict bowling performances by Jitesh and Kalyan along with good hands on field making 3 runouts.
Falcons set 102 the Target for Beamers.
Beamers Captain Deepak Started Firing the Bullets from First over itself, he scored fifty in just 30 balls.
After his fireworks Sudeesh, Uday and Ajay Sailed Beamers to the Shore of Victory where the Lifted the Cups of Championship.

Beamers dominated 2017 with an unbeaten streak of 18 games. Winning the SDCA summer league 2017 championship, Summer league 2017 playoffs and the 2017 Champions Trophy 🏆.

Today’s CT finals was a cracker and Beamers chased 170 with 2 balls to spare and closed the proceedings of the year 2017. Superb start under pressure by Sudhish and Deepak laying a wonderful foundation to knock down the mountainous target of 170 and Jitesh added scintillating finish at the end.. This was one of the best chases of all time in the SDCA history..

Deepak was the key to Beamers success in 2017 and he was phenomenal and consistent with his bat winning 2 best batsmen consecutively. He led the team from front throughout the year. Deepak will be moving to Michigan and entire Beamers family will miss a great player, captain and a friend !!

Match : Beamers vs Falcons

Match Summary:

Finally, Beamers Broke the Jinx.
Beamers, who had cold last season were taking on Falcons, Defending Spring Div 1 League Champion.

Beamers captain Deepak won the Toss and elected to Bat.
Beamers didn't start off well as they lost their captain cheaply in 3rd over when the score was just 1. The team found themselves in more trouble when their MVP Abhinay fell on Duck.
Then Senior Pro Kalyan and Neeraj held the innings and batted sensibly till drinks and took the score to 38 in 10.1 overs when Kalyan caught at deep mid-wicket when he was trying to accelerate the scorecard. Sudeesh joined Neeraj and took the score to 65/4,13 Overs.
Neeraj continued his form and scored 30 runs in the match.
Falcons bowled well and restricted Beamers at 92/9 in 20 overs.

Beamers were 20 runs short on a slow pitch. But their seamers started off well. Kalyan and Abhinay were miser and lethal.
A new face to Beamers, Vijay gave fire from his end by picking up 2 wickets.
Two spinners took the charge from Seamers and denied any chances of Falcons to win the Game.
Another new face Ajay was extraordinary with his spin and opposition had no clue of him.
Rohit, on the other hand, utilized this pressure created at other end and took 4 quick wickets.

Beamers showed excellent team effort and defeated Falcons by 23 Run.

It was like a dream come true for Beamers with winning all the games in Spring 2016 League tournament. Beamers started off the league with recruiting new talent and were considered the underdogs. Most people were playing for the first time for Beamers. The league started with a comprehensive win in the first game and ended with a comprehensive win in the play-off finals. The confidence in the team grew as the league prolonged. Entering into the playoffs with ten straight wins was big achievement and the pressure only grew to prove in the playoffs. The playoffs were completely dominated by Beamers to complete the perfect sweep for Beamers winning all their 12 games. Along with the championship position Beamers got the MVP(KalC), Best Batsmen(Deepak) and Best Keeper(Harsha) awards. This speaks a lot about how Beamers have played great cricket and grew as better team over the league. Credit goes to the Captain (UD) and Vice-Captain (Kalc) keeping the team together and motivated throughout the league. This wouldn’t have been achieved without some exceptional performances. Least to say KalC’s last over finish against Aztecs, UD’s exceptional striking against Weekenders, Many great starts from Deepak and Nitin, Sudhish’s power hitting against Strikers. Each and every one contributed to the team’s success. Beamers will be back facing the new challenges in Division I. Looking forward for more exciting cricket and encounters.
