After our slow day on the coast yesterday. Today’s private Charter opted to Fish Offshore. 42 yellowfin tuna, 1 dorado 1 yellowtail. Where we fish each day will be determined by many factors but available bait is the main factor. To be prepared for both Islands and offshore. Please bring a 15-20 lb setup you can fish an anchovy on, as well as a 25-30 lb outfit to flyline a sardine. The 3rd setup should be a 40 lb outfit that can fish a yo-yo jig or dropper loop at the islands or a c**t sniper if we target tuna offshore. Size 4 hooks for the anchovies, size 1 for the sardines. Most of our tuna were 10-15 lbs with one tipping the scales at 54 lbs.
