We’re back! Season 8 kicks off April 28th. Come fly, splat, fall flat, and hit someone with a sneak attack with us every Tuesday night at 7:30pm through June 16th. $80 gets you 8 weeks of play in Golden Hill.

Never played before? It’s not as scary as you think, and every team will have space for new players — no free agent teams here! We’re an inclusive space for anyone 21+ — come give dodgeball a try and see what the hype is all about.

safe to say we’ve cemented ourselves as t̲h̲e̲ san diego tournament.

a massive thank you to everyone who showed up to our second annual foam dodgeball tournament. over 180 players, 20 teams, two phenomenal days of play, and one wooden goose.

Did you know Britney’s hit song “Hit me baby one more time” was originally to be titled “Block me baby one more time”, a reference to her time playing dodgeball?

We’ll be blasting Britney all Tuesday on January 6th — come play dodgeball with us for free! This is a great way to warm back up after the holidays, convince your friends to join the league, or just come see what it is all about!

It’s back. 🪿

Southern California’s premier foam dodgeball tournament returns for its second year, March 7th and 8th, 2026. Come serve looks and talent as one of 24 teams during our two day torurnament. Bring your own team on day one, then battle it out on a randomly assigned team on day two to see who will be crowned the head goose.

$90 covers both day one and two. Teams must have five players registered to secure their spot. Please see website for additional team requirements and tournament details. Registration opens October 24th at noon.

Come dust off those arms, hunt down your knee pads, and re-order your tape rolls. We’re running a free open gym on September 9th.

If you’ve never played before this is a great time to come learn the rules, meet the players, and see if this is your next sporting obsession. No registration necessary, just show up and we’ll have a waiver for you to sign before stepping on the court. If you’ve never played decide this IS the sport for you we’ll have $10 off coupons for your registration!

Played with us before, or already signed up for the league? This is a great time to meet your team and play with other players before the season begins.

We’re back baby. Season six kicks off in a few short weeks, will you be joining us? For just $10 a week you can experience the childhood joy (err… terror?) of dodgeball with us.

No prior experience necessary, sign up solo or with a friend and you’ll be placed together on a team. 7” WDBF foam balls and a league run by experienced dodgeballers. Come join us and see why this sport is the next big thing!

I moved to San Diego without a friend in sight. I was fortunate enough to find a community through dodgeball with . Seven years later and I now run a league of my own — a small token of gratitude for the community that gave me so much and molded the person I’ve become today.

That would not have been possible without access to the community recreation centers that provides to us. These budget cuts that and our city council have proposed are a slap in the face to our league and all of the others that operate in this city.

Recreational sports leagues build community, are a beacon of light in dark times, and build people up in a world so focused on tearing us down. They’re the very backbone that make San Diego such a vibrant city to live in. Cutting funding and firing dedicated employees is an inhumane and heartless act.

Our gyms are not a line item — they’re a lifeline and critical to the success and stability of our community. Take action now: call and email your council member and our mayor. Tell them hands off our gyms. More details and contact information available at dodgeballsd.org/speak-up

The is proposing budget cuts that pose an existential crisis for our league and the future of dodgeball in this city.

We rely heavily on the city for access to limited gym space in order to operate this league and ensure everyone has access to such a vibrant and wonderful sport. The very existence of this league is now threatened by City Council’s proposed budget cuts.

Please — if you can spare a moment — reach out to your council member and and let them know how critical our recreation centers are. Our parks and recreation centers are critical for providing a space where you can be YOU, where you’re safe, where you’re loved — now more than ever. Don’t let the City Council take this away from us: let’s step up, speak up, and fight for our sport and our community.
