It’s been a slow start to our spring season, but things are going to start shaping up soon. There have been bluefin within 50 miles of Point Loma. As the weather settles and more boats start getting out, the small bit fleet will start to dial in our spring fishery! It’s time! Bluefin are in range and weather is starting to cooperate. First offshore trip is available this Saturday targeting bluefin and yellowtail. Focus will be on bluefin but we will be checking kelp for big spring time yellows.

THE YEAR OF THE DORADO! (Sorry )

Who got there first Dorado with me last year?

Looking back at last season, it was pretty incredible the volume of dorado we saw. There where days we say breezer fields of Dorado and even foamer style schools of Dorado up and feeding! As far as size on these fish last year, I would say we had bigger grade fish on a consistent basis than I’ve seen in the past!

2023 UPDATE- as we approach March, I am happy to report your favorite captain is just about healed up from double knee replacement surgery and ready to open the 2023 season calendar!

The Parker is currently out of the water getting some TLC and off season maintenance done.

Charters will begin April 1st fishing Coronado islands and Baja coast for spring yellows and rockfish!

Can’t wait to see you all and do some fishing this year!
