Paskowitz Surf Camp America's First Surf Camp The Paskowitzes, known as the first family of surfing like to say that they dont just teach people to surf---they create surfers.

History

Founded by his legendary surfer father, Dorian Paskowitz, in 1972 with his wife and nine children, the Paskowitz Surf Camp runs classes each summer in California, Mexico, welcoming and teaching surfers of all ages and levels and sharing their love of this incredible sport. Over the 40 years of its existence, Paskowitz Surf Camp has introduced countless ordinary people---and plenty of famous people from the worlds of music, movies and business to the laid-back surfing lifestyle.

We’re so grateful for the time we had to spend at the Paskowitz Surf Camp for Isaiah’s Autism Family Camp earlier this month.

Izzy has created such a loving and welcoming place for families to enjoy a few days away from the chaos of life and find refuge in one another, cheering on their kids from the edge of the beach and laughing around the campfire.

If you’re interested in attending camp next year, check out the Paskowitz Surf Camp website for 2023 camp dates and maybe we’ll see you there!
