San Diego Canoe Kayak Team - SDCKT SDCKT was founded in 1997 by USA Olympian - Chris Barlow. We practice from our boathouse located on Fiesta Island in Mission Bay at the Youth Aquatic Center.

SDCKT - San Diego Canoe Kayak Team

The San Diego Canoe and Kayak team is a non-profit organization focused on developing young athletes in Olympic style sprint Kayaking & Canoeing, Ocean Surfski racing and Stand Up Paddleboard racing. Founded by USA Canoe Kayak Olympian, Chris Barlow, the team includes paddlers of all skill levels and ages and offers unique opportunities to travel to both region

al and international competitions. Feel free to come down most Saturdays at 9.30AM to try Olympic Style Canoeing, Kayaking, surfski or Stand Up Paddle Boards. K1 - K2 - K4 - C1 - C2 - C4 - SurfSki-SUP

The junior program is for youths ages 8-18 and the senior program is for adults over 18. The team trains to compete locally, nationally and internationally. Some of our team members have earned positions on the USA Junior and Senior World Championship Teams as well as on the USA Olympic Team. For more information go to www.SDCKT.net
