We will keep you updated on how we will proceed for this month. We will still run a zoom class from 10 am to 11 am tomorrow. I will send a link in the morning.

Join us for physical classes this Saturday, April 13 from
9 am -11am.
We will also provide a zoom link for those who cannot join us at the Center.

Starting out we will be doing this class once a month and as interest picks up days and times are subject to change.

We are open for classes! Please check our website (bccsd.org) to see how to make a reservation. If you are interested in volunteering, please check our website or call us. We look forward to hearing from you!

Current and former students, especially those of you who are nearing eligibility for a black belt promotion, please get in touch. There will be another black belt test some time in 2023. You can be ready. Please let us know, if you need or want help.

Andrea and I spent about 2 hours today training with our favorite German born sensei. Martial arts, especially for those of us without the benefit of eyesight, is about connection. The 3 of us trained in the park connecting through the techniques and drills, as well as connecting as friends and fellow human beings. So often we try to do a thing or lots of things. Maybe take a page from the book of my favorite little green dude. “Do or do not. There is no try.” Simplicity is where peace is found.

Congratulations to Sensei Joshua Loya! He won a Team Gold with Team USA at the ISA World Para Surfing Championships.
