Founded in 2010 The SeaStars Artistic Swimming Team was founded when the Sweetwater Dolphins folded. The team is managed by Wendy Hutzler with Head Coaches, Julee Lashley and Kirsten Hutzler with help from Coach Emily, Coach Cloie, Coach Amber and Coach Taryn.

Our Story

We would like to welcome all new and returning swimmers and parents to the awesome world of Synchronized Swimming! You can anticipate a great season making new friendships, building on existing relationships and supporting the sport of synchro.

Our mission is to continue to strive for excellence in the sport of Synchronized Swimming by developing athletes who demonstrate respect, motivation, accountability, and friendship. Our athletes will be challenged to utilize and develop life skills such as: leadership, responsibility, unity, and a strong work ethic.

The San Diego SeaStars is a non-profit 501(c3) organization founded in 2010 and is a member of USA Synchro (USAS) and follow all rules and regulations of the Governing Body. We compete in local, regional, and National competitions.
