From All of us at SDBCC we had a blast these last 4 years. I remember we put down every single sport tile. 21000 square feet and hand painted every court lines. So many great memories here at SDBCC. We had our ups and downs. We started this gym with a group of friends that just wanted to grow badminton in San Diego. We ended up growing one of the largest most amazing Apex Badminton Academy in San Diego. Training players from all over the Map. So many happy faces so many tournaments and so many exciting rallies. We will miss everyone dearly. This pandemic has came and got SDBCC but it did not take away our passion for this sport.
We would like to thank our very first former Head Coach Malvin Alcala and his super professional athletic(SON) Marky Alcala for the start up of the academy and for professional training to San Diego. Thank You very much to the Alcala’s and we wish you and your family the very best.
To our current Head Coach former world champion Halim Haryanto Ho. For the last 3 years you committed yourself to perfect ABA athletes to get them to championship levels. Seeing your gracefulness and your professional contributions to SDBCC has been a blessing. We wish you and your family great success and great health.
To Tommy, Tanto, Thomas, Krishna, Humberto and Yesenia we are truly appreciative of your dedication and commitment to ABA. We wish y’all the best of great health.
To all our front staff y’all the best. what else can we say. We had so much fun and y’all truly are the front line of our club. Thank you and stay blessed.
Lastly I wanted to say thank you to Andy Monkie Tran. Without you, SDBCC wouldn’t even be in San Diego. I saw first hand what you sacrificed to keep SDBCC open.
