All-American Soap Box Derby -San Diego

All-American Soap Box Derby -San Diego The Local Race will be held in the neighborhood of Sherman Heights on 25th Street, between Imperial Avenue and Market Street, on May 28th, 2011.

The San Diego Soap Box Derby team focuses on teaching kids basic skills of workmanship, the thrill of competition, the pride of tradition and most importantly, the spirit of sportsmanship in a fun family environment.

San Diego All-American Soap Box Derby hosts two exciting races every year -- the Rally & Local Race.

2011 Dates & Times:

The Rally Race will be held at the intersection of 61st Street and Skyline Drive in the neighborhood of Encanto on April 2011. The Schedule for both races are:
7:30 to 9:00am | Track Set-Up and Sign-In
7:30 to 9:30am | Weigh-In and Inspection
9:30am | Opening Ceremonies
10:00am | Racing Begins
