A quick mid June check-in, after our first few weeks of offshore charters. From following a batch of big BFT out west with kite n flyers to sinker rigging down south, we’ve put in our time and have been steadily picking away. We’re up to 20 fish over the triple-digit mark with 10 of those fish coming in at over 200 #. Not every trip has been a success but our average is still on the high side and we plan on keeping our efforts focused on big fish when the weather allows. We've got some very exciting news in store for 2024, including a new addition to our fleet coming soon. We're going bigger, faster and most importantly, more comfortable with a brand new, insanely rigged Everglades 335CC being added to our charter fleet line up! Over the past couple of years, Duane has been doing his homework, test riding various hulls and believes Everglades Boats not only tick all the boxes, but far exceed them. Expect BIG things from this new boat!

We couldn't be more excited to start running this season and look forward to fishing with you all in 2024

Big week for Pinnacle Sportfishing anglers, as we located a nice body of size large BFT and were able to walk it up the line with little to no boat pressure. 100% kite fishing, big blowout bites and happy anglers! Once the dust settled, we had 24 fish from 120-190 # hit the decks of our boats. We just got a check from Capt Cameron who is back on the fish today, so we expect the good fishing to continue! As we round into July, we’re finally getting a chance to check in and are very pleased to have had an epic start to our 2022 offshore/tuna season. We’re currently sitting just shy of the century mark on trophy BFT, ranging from 110-240 #, with most of those fish in the 140-200 # class and almost all of them coming via kite and flying fish. In between the big bites, we also had a very good showing and tally of the school grade fish ranging from 40-90 #. As of the past week, we’ve seemed to hit a bit of a transition phase but certainly expect things to ramp up again soon, as the main body of large BFT regroups out west and we also see an influx of exotics (dorado/YFT) come up from the south. We’d like to send a big THANK YOU to everyone who’s fished with Pinnacle Sportfishing thus far this season! If you’d like to book a trip, we do have some dates left available for Aug/Sept. These are the good ol’ days! Super stoked to breach the 200 fish mark on trophy BFT for 2021 with go-arounds for every angler that fished with Pinnacle Sportfishing yesterday. We greatly appreciate everyone who’s trusted the process and fished hard with us this far this season… We can’t wait to keep grinding out the explosive bites for our upcoming groups! Greetings FB friends, long time no check in! We’ve been fishing non-stop and taking full advantage of another historic year of tuna fishing here in SoCal. We set a goal to put 200+ triple digit bluefin on the boats this year and as we near the end of July we’re just nineteen fish shy of that mark!
