The San Diego Youth Rugby Club "Mustangs" offers the opportunity for youth in the San Diego area, age 5 to 18, to experience and enjoy the sport of rugby. San Diego Youth Rugby strives to provide the highest standard and quality of coaching and teaching, to foster teamwork and to develop each player to the best of his/her potential in a fun and safe environment. All coaches, parents and players ar

e mindful of the Mustangs playing in the spirit of the game and they emphasize sportsmanship. We have 8 divisions in our club (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19; as well as U16 and U19 womens teams). Each age grade is coached by USA Rugby registered coaches and include ex players from the USA, England, Wales, New Zealand and South Africa. We are affiliated with the Torrey Pines and Cathedral Catholic High School rugby clubs and bring these players together for a "club" season after their high school seasons are complete. San Diego Youth Rugby is affiliated with USA Rugby, a partner of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Lynda is a Mustang mom to Mustangs Doug and Sabrina and had an unfortunate accident. from Doug:

I am Douglas Jutronich. My mother is Lynda Jutronich. On November 4th, 3 years after the anniversary of my mother being attacked by a great white shark in San Diego, California, she was body surfing when a wave hit the sea floor. She broke 3 vertebrae in her neck as well as three different parts of her back. She is going into surgery today. The money raised will go towards paying for the surgery as well as the copious amounts of rehab she will need after the surgery.
