The San Diego Law Enforcement Spartans is a newly formed team of law enforcement officers from around San Diego County. The Spartans goal is to play hockey and raise money for the Widows and Orphans fund. The Widows & Orphans Fund is an important part of the San Diego Police Officers Association. In the tragic event of a member’s death, the Widows & Orphans Fund provides monetary support to the me

mber’s beneficiary. The SDPOA Widows & Orphans Fund also provides assistance to our members in the case that they are faced with the loss of a spouse or child. check out of to donate to the widows and orphans fund here. http://www.sdpoa.org/sdpoa-wof.aspx . The Spartans played their first charity game on october 19th, 2013 against the US Patriots. The Spartans won the game 7-5. The Spartans hope to schedule more charity games. keep an eye on the spartan page for updates.
