The Pilates Loft, San Diego Jennifer Curry Wingrove, STOTT certified Pilates Instructor and renowned Ballerina of the California In 2010, Jennifer founded Pilates On Park.

Jennifer Curry Wingrove, former owner of Pilates On Park, renowned Ballerina of the California Ballet Company, and a STOTT Certified Pilates Instructor, initially became interested in Pilates to further strengthen her own body for her international dancing career. She was so impressed with what Pilates did for her that she became inspired to teach and share this form of exercise with others. Jenni

fer's instruction utilizes a dynamic repertoire of exercises to emphasize strength, flexibility, and mind-body-spirit connection. Jennifer has 30 years of teaching experience with 20 years of teaching Pilates in the San Diego area. Her clients have included the California Ballet Company, San Diego Symphony, and the Old Globe Theater. She is also the Founder, Artistic Director, and award-winning Choreographer of Astraeus Aerial Dance Theatre, and has had the privilege to work closely with the celebrated Debra Brown of Cirque du Soleil. Jennifer can also be seen dancing in Coldplay’s music video “True Love”, as well as in the movie “Petals On the Wind”. Jennifer graduated cm laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, San Diego, and was a Research Technician with the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla. She is also a professional ballet coach and teacher, and the founding Photographer of Wingrove Studios Photography. Happy National Pilates Day!! 💫
For the last 25+ years, Pilates has been a personal foundation of strength, flexibility, and sanity. It served as vital cross training for my dance career, and was a catalyst in my ability to fly as an aerialist. It has also given me the blessed opportunity teach and meet many amazing people along the way. Now and moving forward, Pilates remains an integral part of my life, both as a practitioner as well as a teacher.

Today is very bitter sweet.
Today I permanently closed the doors to Pilates On Park. This period of COVID has made it very difficult to keep the business sustained in its original space, which has served us beautifully for last 10 years. It has also helped me to develop an amazing business and lasting relationships that I will carry with me for years to come. So as one door closes, another opens. I am proud to announce that I am continuing to teach not only on an online platform, but in a private and duet format in my new quaint home-based studio “The Pilates Loft”. Onto the Next Chapter!
