Sensei Paul Billimoria, Chief Instructor, has been training in martial arts since 1978 and has been an instructor since 1981. He has won three national championships in team kata competition and has been passing on the art for more than 30 years. Sensei Billimoria has studied various forms of marital arts over the years, including Karate, Judo, Tai-Chi and Kobudo. He earned a degree from the University of California, Riverside and earned an advanced degree from the University of Southern California. Sensei Andy Prouty, Senior Instructor, has been training in martial arts since 1989 and has been instructing for over 20 years. Sensei Prouty is an avid runner and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with his family. He is also a repeat national champion in team kata competition. Sensei Andy is a graduate from the University of California, San Diego where he earned 2 degrees. Sensei Sarah Sagi has been training in martial arts for at least 20 years and is the lead instructor for the youth class. You will also find her training and helping in the adult class. Sensei Rex Hill has been training for at least 15 years. He is the lead instructor of our family class, plus continues as a long-time instructor at our sister dojo at UCSD.
