A month of family, Pride, nursing shifts, gym sessions, beach days, puppy cuddles, building businesses, and becoming more like the woman Iā€™ve been working toward.

Sometimes growth doesnā€™t happen all at once. It happens in the little moments you almost forget to document until you look back.

Grateful for every one of them.

Sometimes people say, ā€œYouā€™ve changed a lot.ā€

The truth isā€¦

A lot changed me.

The last year humbled me in ways I never expected.

A back injury that forced me to slow down.
Heartbreak and betrayal that made me question everything.
Losing my grandma.
Trying to hold myself together while quietly falling apart.

There was a point where I looked in the mirror and didnā€™t recognize the woman looking back at me.

It wasnā€™t just the weight I had gained.
It was the exhaustion.
The sadness.
The version of me who kept pouring into everyone else while forgetting herself.

I kept waiting for someone to save me.

Then one day I realized no one was coming.

That wasnā€™t the end of my storyā€”it was the beginning.

I started choosing myself again.
Not perfectly. Not all at once.
Just one decision at a time.

Stretching.
Therapy.
Healing.
Moving my body.
Creating boundaries.
Building my businesses with intention instead of survival.
Learning that taking care of myself isnā€™t selfishā€”itā€™s the foundation for everything else I want to build.

Kassthetics has grown through uncertainty.
SolƩa is being built from the ground up while learning the realities of compliance, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
None of it has been easy.

But the woman building it all is no longer the same woman who thought she had to suffer in silence.

If youā€™ve been feeling like life has broken you lately, I hope you know this:

You donā€™t have to become who you were before.
Sometimes healing looks like becoming someone youā€™ve never been before.

Iā€™m learning that letting go doesnā€™t always mean something was meaningless.
Sometimes it means it served its purpose, taught you what you needed to learn, and made room for the version of you thatā€™s ready to move forward.

This season feels different.
Iā€™m releasing what no longer belongs to me, allowing new beginnings to unfold without forcing them, rebuilding trust in myself, pouring into my body, nurturing my dreams, and creating space for everything Iā€™ve been asking for.

Not everything has arrived yet.
Not everything is figured out.
But I can feel that Iā€™m becoming. šŸŒ‘āœØ

I showed up fully ā€” in love, in business, in life.
And thatā€™s something Iā€™ll never regret.

But Iā€™m building something that requires consistency, intention, and presence ā€” and I wonā€™t shrink that to make anyone comfortable.

So Iā€™m refining.
Refocusing.
Recommitting to the life Iā€™m creating.

This month felt like a shift.

Less talkingā€¦ more becoming.
More discipline. More intention. More alignment.

Iā€™ve been pouring into myselfā€”
my habits, my healing, my routine, my vision.

Showing up in the studio.
Showing up for my body.
Showing up for my life.

And I can feel itā€¦ everything is starting to reflect that.

Iā€™m not who I used to beā€”and Iā€™m not going back.

Thereā€™s so much being built behind the scenes.
This next season? Itā€™s different.

Iā€™m stepping into everything I said I would be.
No more hesitation. No more shrinking.

Not the kind of strength that comes from pushing throughā€¦ but the strength that comes from choosing myself with intention.

Ten years ago was my last year as a teenager ā€” just trying to figure out who I was, where I belonged, and what I wanted my life to look like. Jobs changed, cities changed, identities uncovered themselves, dreams shiftedā€¦ and every version of me kept choosing to grow anyway.

If you told 2016 me that one day sheā€™d be a nurse, an entrepreneur, and the owner of her own beauty + wellness brand, she wouldnā€™t have believed you.

Now, in my last year of my twenties, Iā€™m grateful to see the seeds I planted through a decade of hard work finally beginning to show.
