I don't know if it happens to you, but when you have your own business sometimes it can feel a bit complicated😫 planning a vacation.

Kids don't go to school, you have to keep an eye on the job, you want to spend time with them and you want to make this vacation special... that and much more 🤯

Let me share with you what we did at home, it might help you or at least serve as a guide for you and your family:

✅ Step 1: Everyone made their list of what they wanted to do on vacation. (separately so they don't "influence each other" 🤣)

✅ Step 2: We divided a sheet into two columns (morning and afternoon) and we put all the days that we will have left before going to class. a little calendar

✅ Step 3: Knowing the responsibilities that each one has, we accommodated the activities they wanted to carry out, we added them to the calenar on a specific day (either in the morning or afternoon column no pressure for a specific time).

This very simple activity allowed us to spend a very great time as a family, 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 knowing what everyone wants and expects from the holidays and it allowed my wife and I to prioritize what we need to do around family vacations...

note... the activities on the calendar were written by my kids, so it generates that spirit of belonging and responsibility...

IMPORTANT: It is not written in stone... For example, my son was invited by a friend in a day were he had an activity so he was able to decide if he would miss the activity that day and go play with his friend... if there{s time we can schedule the activity again but he is aware he made a conscious decision...
