Functional training is a weird phrase. We try not to say it too often, because people have an assumption of what it looks like based on their experience. I largely blame CrossFit because it was synonymous with “functional training” for many years. But what does function look like for you? What movements should you be doing in order to FUNCTION better in YOUR life?
BlazePod + Nico Castro Aguilar looks like spatial awareness, increasing endurance, and keeping the 🧠 working as opposed to just moving around mindlessly. Oh, and it’s FUNKtional!.

Fitness is an interesting word, so is bodybuilding. What are you FIT to do? What are you BUILDING your body to withstand? How does the time you spend in the gym benefit the goals you have and how do they carry over into your day to day life? Almost 10 years we’ve been helping folks BUILD their bodies, and meet their personal FITNESS goals (to improve their quality of life). We may do it a bit differently than others, but every-body is different. .
Anyway, here’s just getting SWOLE and remaining injury free.
