Sometimes losing a client isn’t proof that your work failed it’s proof that it worked.
I'm a long term coach and I work with clients for literal years, why? Because there's no end to personal development, I mean as a coach, I have a coach.
The right support can help someone grow, gain clarity, and reach a point where they’re ready for what’s next and that's the impact I want to make, so people can get ready to their next level.
One of my first coaching clients many many years ago worked with me until her business reached 750k in revenue annually, then one day she told me "I found a coach that can help me take my business to 10M annually." And I celebrated with her, we had a beautiful closing session and now I can call her a friend, we see each other at events and I continue to be supportive of her.
Now I get to work with first-gen leaders who have actually grown their business to 8 figures, and guess what? They still have personal development to work on, so we get to work.
Your business relationships can reveal a lot about the way you lead, serve, and grow.
What is actually important when finding support is to ask yourself these three questions:
✨ What do I need support with?
✨ What would getting that support look like as a result?
✨ What kind of support am I ready, willing, and able to receive?
Your leadership style might also inform the type of support you need.
