July of this year, a dear friend of mine, Norah, at 28yrs of age discovered that she’d been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I’d never truly understood what it felt like to experience any form of cancer, but after having spent the last 5 months ‘showing up’, along with a handful of supportive friends by her side - I can now say that I have a glimpse. That glimpse alone was enough for me to set aside most of my personal-affairs and surrender to the call for help.
From witnessing a dozen doctor visits, handful of painful biopsies, MRIs, mammograms, needle injections - as well as countless hours of research and conversations around 'the best ways to beat cancer’ from Western Doctors, Integrative & Holistic Doctors, Cancer Survivors, etc. (many of which have opposing viewpoints) - and lastly, the mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual depletion that has come as a result of the past 5 months (the beginning stages of the journey). This was my ‘glimpse’.
As of today, Norah has accepted to undergo a mastectomy (removal of the breast) on December 17, 2020 in order to minimize the spread of rapidly growing cancer cells. The months following her surgery will include ongoing chemotherapy, radiation, and progressive treatments. All of which will require an abundance of support from others.
Which leads me to the reason of my post;
I will be running 100-miles on December 24th to December 25th in San Diego, CA to help bring awareness and raise donations for Norah’s GoFundMe Campaign.
The GoFundMe is currently active. I along with a handful of others, humbly invite you to spend a few minutes to learn more about Norah, her 'Road to Recovery', and the opportunity to support her journey (in any way you can - please share).
A BIG Thank You to friends and family who've already donated and shared the campaign with others.

I've personally lost a few Loved Ones this year. From natural-cause, from COVID-19, and just A WEEK ago -- a childhood friend due to CANCER, of all things... My deepest condolences to their families as well as my own.
More to share in the days to come,
Love & Light,
