I remember when we used to spend the night at MAMA T house, before Game days lol haven’t seen Lil Ahmad since them MOBB days!

One thing about the BALBOA RAIDERS ORGANIZATION, it brought the COMMUNITY TOGETHER. ALL SECTIONS.

I played on teams where parents & families came from EASTSIDE, UPTOP, LINCOLN PARK, EAST D**O MOBB, NH40s & WCC. ALL Different neighborhoods, different sections, but when it was Raider time, WE WAS ONE FAMILY.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I appreciate my Pop Warner organization & all my coaches. They showed us at a young age that football could bring everybody together.

That foundation made it easier for me as a man & coach to continue pushing:

7 A.M. MOTION !
Every morning is an opportunity to learn something new.
This morning at Chollas Lake during my 7 A.M. Motion, I was going through my mobility warm up when Mr. Lee walked over and smiled. He told me, “You’re already doing Tai Chi.”

He invited me to join his class, and I did.
What I learned today is that movement has many languages. Whether it’s mobility, stretching, strength training, Tai Chi, or walking, it all comes back to one thing… taking care of your body.

Mr. Lee teaches Tai Chi every day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Chollas Lake, and I can already tell this is knowledge worth sharing. I’ll be dropping more game from him very soon because we’re never too old or too experienced to become students again.

Health isn’t just about lifting heavy.
It’s about moving better.
Breathing better.
Living better.
