If these nine years have taught me anything, it's that grief doesn't have a timeline, healing doesn't mean forgetting, and your story isn't over.

✨ These are nine lessons I've learned while learning how to carry my mom's love with me instead of leaving it behind.

Just because your mom is no longer here physically, doesn't mean that we no longer celebrate their birthday!

It's important to continue celebrating and honoring your mom to keep her memory alive.

Remember, when you're grieving, celebrating a birthday can be hard. So do what works for you.

Let's be real, a motherless Mother's Day sucks.💔 It hits differently when you can’t make that first phone call of the morning.

But even in their absence, there is so much power in how we remember our moms.

So today, I’m honoring the woman who gave me everything in small, meaningful ways:
🕯️ lighting a candle
✍🏾 writing her a letter
💐 getting her flowers
🗣️ saying her name out loud

She deserves to still be remembered. Always.

If today feels heavy, quiet, or a little empty… I get it. To my sisters in grief, I see you.You don’t have to "power through" today.

And your love for her? It’s still there, it just needs a place for it to go. 🫶🏾
