Goodbye DUDE, Hello SD Ulti!

Diego Ultimate Disc Experience is shutting down all of its programming and donating everything to a new 501c3 nonprofit org called San Diego Ultimate! SD Ulti will continue to host all the same programs you've come to love from DUDE - (beach/summer leagues, OLOB, youth events) and even more, with a renewed effort on striving “to teach youth, diverse populations, and underserved communities to develop character, conflict resolution, and good sportsmanship through Ultimate skills clinics, community events, and public discussion.”

SD Ulti's first event will be Soul Tide, a party beach tournament co-hosted with Elevate the weekend after Club Nationals.

We are also working hard on hosting and growing our youth High School and Middle School teams! And being 501c3 means we, and you, get tax incentivized benefits too! Learn more at our new website: https://sandiegoultimate.org/

The Ultimate Back-to-School Bash is coming soon to a field near you! We are having a Fall Youth Hat tournament on Sunday, October 6th from 1-4:30 at Nobel Field!

The info sessions will include an informal presentation about the club-making process with plenty of time for networking with other potential players and schools, questions, and time to chat with our youth coordinators. The targeted audience is middle school and high school players and their parents, but teachers, administrators, etc are very welcome to join. If you know of others who may be interested, feel free to pass the registration link on to them.

Come join us for Youth Summer League 2024! This year’s league will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6pm-8pm at Ashley Falls Park in Carmel Valley and will run from June 19 - August 14. Each weekly session will start with fun skill-building drills and then we will spend most of our time playing games and maximizing FUN! Your kids will make new friends and work with some amazing coaches from local professional and college teams!

ALL LEVELS (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) are welcome and encouraged to join! Invite your friends!

NOTE: It's OK to miss any weeks that conflict with your child's other summer plans. We certainly understand and know how to handle this. We create balanced teams each week based on who is there.

DUDE summer league is back! Like last year, this league is a fundraiser for the UCSD men's team, the Air Squids and the UCSD womxn's team, Dragon Coalition! This year we are again splitting DUDE summer league into a Tuesday and Thursday league. Registration includes two games per week, with both games played on the same day.

Both Tuesday and Thursday leagues have two games from 6:00-7:00 AND 7:00-8:00 at Warren field.

Regular registration is $75 per player and will close June 27th at midnight.

New players welcome! Don't hesitate to join in on the fun just because you've never played before. Invite your friends, coworkers and family!
