Most of life is not what happens to us but itā€™s how we respond to what happens to us. So much relies in our choices and how we choose to think. If you think you can, you can! Noticing how you are thinking is the beginning of becoming a mentally strong player.

Here are a few tips to help you foster a positive attitude and mindset.. to help shift your thinking and attitude!

āž”ļøNothing Lasts- Setbacks are not permanent, everything passes. Losing is a part of the process, itā€™s a step towards winning.

āž”ļøYou are more than your last mistake: Donā€™t let a mistake or a loss carry over into your personal life or your relationships with your teammates. Treat mistakes as information that will help you improve and move on.

āž”ļøDonā€™t take it personally: Making a mistake does not define you as a player or a person. Winning and losing is not all on you, itā€™s a team effort, donā€™t take all the credit with either one.

Positive self-talk is so important.
