Harvey E. Najim Family YMCA The 14,000 sq. ft., two-story YMCA, will provide resources for residents to live a healthy lifestyle The second phase will include a community garden.

San Antonio's Southside community is long overdue for a YMCA of their own, well the day has finally come. The Harvey E Najim Family YMCA will open in the Spring of 2017 a few hundred feet from the Mission Branch Library. We are working with the San Antonio Public Library to develop new and engaging programs for the Southside community. ft., two-story YMCA, will provide resources for residents to live a healthy lifestyle, including an exercise floor, group exercise areas, child watch, a teaching kitchen and an outdoor covered gymnasium. We are thrilled to be bringing another Y into our community - providing families the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

🇺🇸 Climbing in Remembrance. Never Forget.

Today, we are proud to recognize our member and retired firefighter, Armando Martinez, as he completes a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in honor of the heroes and lives lost on September 11, 2001.

As a retired firefighter, this tribute holds an especially meaningful connection. Each step honors the firefighters, first responders, and countless individuals who showed incredible courage and made the ultimate sacrifice that day. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you, Armando, for your years of service and for continuing to honor your fellow first responders.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our beloved YMCA members, Lionel Flores.
Mr. Leo was a valued part of our YMCA family, and their presence, kindness, and friendship will be deeply missed by our staff, members, and everyone who had the opportunity to know him.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts as they celebrate and remember a life that touched so many.

Hi Parents,
I’m Emily! Many of you might already know me from my work as a child watch attendant here at the Harvey E. Najim Family YMCA. Beyond working with your children at the Y, I’m also a former youth coach for the City of San Antonio, where I've run soccer clinics for children ages 3 to 10. Soccer has been a huge part of my life since I was 8 years old. I played all through high school, a bit in college, and I still play in a women’s Sunday league! I have so much love for this sport, and I’m so excited to share my passion and skills with your little ones. My goal is to help them build their skills, gain confidence, and grow to love the game just as much as I do!
