Lloyd Mangrum won the U.S. Open in 1946 at Canterbury Golf Club. This was the first U.S. Open held since WWII during which Mangrum was the recipient of two Purple Hearts.

He emerged victorious after a 3-way 36-hole playoff with Byron Nelson and Victor Ghezzi.

Congratulations to David Graham on being named the 2026 Memorial Tournament Honoree.

A World Golf Hall of Fame member, two-time major champion, and Texas Golf Hall of Fame Class of 2013 inductee, Graham's impact on the game continues to be recognized. The longtime Dallas resident captured the 1980 Memorial Tournament and remains one of the most accomplished international players in golf history.

With this honor, Graham becomes the 12th Texas Golf Hall of Fame member to be recognized as a Memorial Tournament Honoree, joining an impressive group of Texas golf legends celebrated by Jack Nicklaus and the Memorial Tournament. ⛳🏆
