#153 (Dueto)
#193 (Solo)
This weekend was one for the books. Salem, Oregon welcomed us with open arms, and we are especially grateful to for opening the doors of your home to our group from Texas.
This weekend, and competed in a Dueto Tamaulipeco, while also competed in the Solo Tamaulipeco division at a Huapango style competition. They won style in both divisions and were honored to be named Campeón de Campeones also in both divisions.
While these accomplishments are something we will always cherish, what we will remember most is everything that happened behind the scenes.
The 30 hours spent on the road. Adjusting to a new time zone. The never ending spending to make this possible. The late night and weekend rehearsals when they were exhausted but still gave their all. The moments of doubt, disappointment, and frustration. The sacrifices that no one sees. Every challenge became part of the journey that made this weekend so meaningful.
Most importantly, we want to recognize and thank both of our directors. Their dedication, vision, and commitment to excellence continue to inspire all of us. They lead not only with knowledge and talent, but with heart. Through every rehearsal, correction, difficult conversation, and victory, they have shown us what it means to pursue something with passion, discipline, and integrity.
Thank you and . For pouring so much of yourselves into this group. We are incredibly proud of you.
