Nice little trip down to Texas, wanted to target LMB's, but ended up going after Red Drum. They hit like a Mac Truck, very different from bass! As my son struggled to get this 20.5" red in, he found out there are no head shakes, just raw power! Absolute beauty of a fish.

Looks like we are going to get out this week! Next two days we will hop between a few lakes and test out some new baits, give some reel/rod reviews, and hopefully land some MN tanks! The wind looks like it will be a challenge with wind gusts predicted to be as high as 35mph.
