This week wasn’t about setting PRs.

It was about setting a baseline.

Over the last five days, we tested strength, conditioning, skill, and capacity across multiple domains.

Not to see who’s the fittest.

To establish a starting point.

Because if we’re going to improve over the next 11 weeks, we need to know where we’re starting.

Today, we wrapped up testing with a barbell complex to refine positions and reinforce movement quality before taking on DT—one of CrossFit’s most iconic benchmark workouts.

Now we have the data.

Now we have the benchmarks.

Now the real work begins.

The goal isn’t to be your best in Week 1.

The goal is to become someone entirely different by Week 11.

Stronger.
Fitter.
More capable.

Achilles is underway.

Let’s get to work. 😤

“Coach, I really didn’t want to come today.”

We hear it all the time.

“I almost hit snooze.”
“I almost stayed home.”
“I almost talked myself out of it.”

And honestly, we get it.

Life is busy.
Work is stressful.
The bed is warm.
The couch is comfortable.

Very few people walk through the doors excited to train. 😅

But here’s what’s interesting.

We’ve never heard someone say:

“I’m glad I skipped.”

Not once.

Instead, we see the same thing happen over and over again.

People show up.

They move.
They sweat.
They laugh.
They accomplish something they weren’t sure they could do.

And somewhere between the warm-up and the high fives after class, everything changes.

They leave with more energy than they came in with.

More confidence.

More momentum.

That’s why motivation is overrated.

Because the people who get results aren’t the ones who always feel motivated.

They’re the ones who show up anyway.

And more often than not, more motivation to continue is waiting for them on the other side of the workout.
