Olympian Fencing Club is a San Antonio Alamo area epee fencing club led by Head Coach Velizar Iliev, a World-class athlete and coach with combined experience of over 40 years. Coach Velizar is a 2000 US Olympian, 3 time World Champion, a Pan-American Games Champion and holds numerous National Championship titles for the Modern Pentathlon and Fencing. The Modern Pentathlon is one of the oldest Olym
pic sports and it consists of: Fencing, Riding, Shooting, Swimming and Running. Your kid will also learn from Coach Viktor, five years fencing coach for Penn State University, Viktor is a 1972 Olympian, a four-time Olympic coach, his athletes claimed a silver medal at the Olympics as well as three gold, one silver, and a bronze medal at the World Championships and four gold medals at Pan-American Championships, he was also Velizar’s personal coach. We’re focused on providing a rewarding experience that will build confidence, reinforce teamwork and inspire the personal growth necessary for your child to take the next step in life. Many of our fencers earning medals in various local, National & International competitions. Our fencers have received athletic and academic scholarships in the top US universities like: Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, etc.
*Beginner’s class - for Girls & Boys 6 years old and up.
*Little Olympian Class - for Girls & Boys 4 to 6 years old.
*Intermediate Competitive Class - for Girls & Boys 6 to 10 years old.
*Advanced Competitive Classes - for Girls & Boys 11 years old and up.
*Fencing Camps throughout the year - for Girls & Boys 6 years old and up.
*Birthday and Team Building Parties - for Girls & Boys 6 years old and up.
