Your opinion about fitness and nutrition is irrelevant if the facts prove you wrong. 👇
I said what I said 😤
❌️Being a personal trainer doesn’t automatically make you an expert. ❌️Having 20 years of gym experience doesn’t make you an expert. ❌️ Losing 50 pounds doesn’t make you an expert. ❌️And having thousands of followers DEFINITELY doesn’t make you an expert.
If your beliefs about training, nutrition, weight loss, supplements, or recovery contradict the best available scientific evidence, your experience doesn’t magically override the evidence.
“But it worked for me!” 🤦That’s an anecdote, not proof.
“But I’ve always done it this way!” 🤦That’s tradition, not evidence.
“But this influencer says…” 🤦 That’s marketing, not science.
You are allowed to have an opinion. You are NOT entitled to have your opinion treated as a fact. Good science should change your mind when the evidence changes.
And if you refuse to change your position—even when the evidence repeatedly contradicts you?
That’s not being “open-minded.” That’s being intellectually stubborn.
