TCAC is the celebration of the blending of two unique cultures: Texas and Hawaii. Both of these states have a unique identity that consists of rich history, friendly people, diverse customs and cuisines, and amazing physical beauty.
Hawaii made “aloha” a part of the American lexicon. It is acknowledged worldwide as “The Aloha State.” Literally in the middle of the Pacific Rim, Hawaii celebrates a culture of diversity. It is a true melting pot of races and ethnicities from every corner of the planet. Hawaii was once a sovereign nation and the spirit and pride of kanaka maoli remains today. To live the Aloha lifestyle is to embrace all that Hawaii has to offer-friendly hospitality, respect for the land, love for all people.
Texas is known worldwide as “The Lone Star State.” Texas has a rich history of cultures blending as well. Native American, Spanish, Mexican, French, German and Czech are just some of the cultures that have become part of the identity of Texas. Texas is one of the few states in our country that offers such amazing diversity in everything from racial and ethnic backgrounds, to cuisines, landscapes and climate, industry, agriculture and so much more. Texas was once a sovereign nation and “Lone Star Pride” is a celebration of independence that is revered by every true Texan.
TCAC is a beautiful example of how these two unique cultures have helped to define a very unique family-the Pang Parras. We celebrate all of the culture of our backgrounds, as well as what we’ve created as a family in martial arts.
Amber Pang was born and raised on the island of Oahu. She is of Chinese, Portuguese and Hawaiian decent. Ben Parra is of Mexican and Scotch-Irish decent and a native Texan originally from El Paso. They have been married for over 22 years and raised a beautiful family of three children. Joaquim (Joey) Pang Parra, Josiah (Siah) Pang Parra, and Jacinta (Jacy) Pang Parra are all-American. They have been raised in an eclectic environment encompassing all of these wonderful diverse cultures, as well as martial arts.
TCAC-Texas Community Aloha Culture- is our brand that celebrates our lifestyle.
