All Federal, state, and local firearm laws must be obeyed. ** CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT AT ALL TIMES.**
2. Hearing and eye protection are required on the range at all times.
3. Appropriate clothing and shoes are required on the range. No low cut shirts or open toed shoes.
4. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted onto the range.
5. All fi****ms tr
ansported from parking lot to office to range must be holstered, or unloaded with their action open and the magazine removed, or unloaded and encased.
6. All shooters and spectators must complete and sign the Bullet Hole Shooting Range RELEASE, WAIVER, HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFICATION AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT before using the Range.
7. Owners of Class III items must be in possession of any special permits or paperwork required by law. Notify staff at check in and produce the appropriate documents. Be prepared for additional inspection on documents on the range by a staff member.
8. Food and smoking are prohibited on the range. (Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas.)
9. Rapid fire is prohibited on all rifle ranges. (4 seconds between each shot fired)
10. Only centerfire pistol ammunition and rimfire ammunition may be fired on designated pistol ranges.
11. Rifles may be fired on designated rifle ranges.
12. Shotgun slugs may be fired on the 50 yard rifle range. No buckshot or birdshot may be fired unless assigned to the appropriate shooting area.
13. Tracer and incendiary ammunition is prohibited. Exploding targets are prohibited.
14. Commands issued by Range Safety Officers and Range Personnel must be obeyed immediately and without question. Anyone who identifies unsafe behavior on the range is authorized to call a Cease Fire.
15. When the command "Cease Fire" is given:
Stop shooting IMMEDIATELY - Remove your finger from the trigger - Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction
Wait for further instructions from the Range Safety Officer
16. No one may go forward of the firing line unless authorized or instructed to do so by the Range Safety Officer.
17. When the line is declared "CLEAR":
All fi****ms must be holstered; or unloaded and benched "grounded" with the muzzle pointed down range, with the action open, ejection port or cylinder up, and magazine removed. Everyone must step back from the firing line. No fi****ms may be handled while the line is "CLEAR"
18. Only Bullet Hole Staff approved paper targets may be used.
19. Use the appropriate size target, placed at eye level, to ensure that your shots strike the backstop and not the ground, ceiling or target holder. Firing a shot on the Bullet Hole Shooting Range that results in the bullet striking anything other than the target and/or backstop, may result in a damage will accrue repair fine and/or your removal from the range. Steel target shooting must be approved by a Range Safety Officer and the target must be calibrated and set to prevent ricochets. Steel target shooting is only permitted on ranges with appropriate baffles.
20. Cross firing of targets is prohibited.
21. All firing from the 50, 100, 200 & 300 yard line (i.e. from within the shooting booths) must be aimed fire.
22. If you are going to draw from a holster and fire (unless authorized to do otherwise by the Range Officer), you MUST:
Remove the shooting table from the shooting booth (On Private Bays ONLY)
Stay within the shooting booth
Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. It's important to practice "dry fire" exercises, no ammo or magazine in the gun when first learning to draw, drawing with a new gun and/or a new holster.
23. Only belt holsters, placed on the same hip as the shooting hand, may be used on the Bullet Hole Shooting Range. Shoulder holsters and cross-draw holsters may not be used unless authorized by the Range Safety Officer during designated training courses taught by a certified instructor.
24. You may collect your own brass that is on or behind the firing line. Brass from other shooters and all brass that falls in front of the firing line may not be collected unless authorized by the Range Safety Officer.
25. Competitions held on the Bullet Hole Shooting Range will be conducted in accordance with official NRA, USPSA, IDPA rules or by the rules of the sanctioning body of the match.
26. Always wash your hands and face immediately after shooting and/or cleaning your firearm. Sinks are located in all bathrooms.
27. Bullet Hole Shooting Range Safety Officers reserve the right to inspect any fi****ms or ammunition for safety considerations.
28. Cursing, yelling or any aggressive behavior will be cause for immediate removal from the range. Local Law Enforcement will be notified. And range fees will not be refunded.
29. Appropriate sights are required on all fi****ms used at the Bullet Hole Shooting Complex.
30. Bullet Hole Range Safety Officers have the authority to deem any behavior or activity conducted as unsafe, even if not listed on these rules, in an effort to promote safety for all participants on the property and all neighboring properties. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN A REPRIMAND OR YOUR REMOVAL FROM THE BULLET HOLE SHOOTING RANGE. RANGE FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
