😱Holiday Weekends😱
It’s Labor Day Weekend. There will be BBQ’s, sweets, alcohol, and chips & dips. There will be offers to spend time with family and friends for extended periods of time. There will be late nights, early mornings, and sleeping in later than normal.
You may feel anxiety over the lack of time you spend in the gym this long weekend. You may feel anxiety over the extra calories you are offered between food and drinks. You may feel anxiety over staying out later than normal or not getting the usual amount of rest you normally get.
I’m here to let you know eat that extra brownie. I’m here to let you know drink that extra beer with your buddy or have that extra glass of whiskey or wine with your mom, dad, and siblings. I’m here to let you know it’s all going to be ok!
A healthy lifestyle has balance. Fill your cup this weekend with exploration, laughter, friends, and family. Get some
movement in but don’t let it consume your entire day unless you are a professional athlete. Do the things you love with the people you love!
Enjoy the long weekend. Prioritize those that are important to you. Live with balance and happiness this Labor Day Weekend! You’ll thank yourself in the end that you didn’t skip out on an experience.
