It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of former Woodlawn Academy Assistant Principal, Mrs. Jennifer Salazar Mugica, and her husband Carlos Mugica.
Mrs. Salazar was a dedicated educator and leader whose impact on Woodlawn Academy continues to be felt today. During her time at Woodlawn, she worked to support students, and encourage staff to always place children at the center of their work. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering commitment to education touched countless lives.
Many of our students, families, and staff remember Mrs. Salazar for the care she showed every child and the influence she had on our school community. Her legacy lives on through the relationships she built and the difference she made in the lives of others.
On behalf of the entire Woodlawn Academy family, we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew and loved her. We ask our community to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
