Hi y'all! Formerly, "Coach Cam" here. When I originally made this page around 2013, this was for pitching lessons. I write this because I still constantly get messages on this page if I give lessons, I'm sorry, I don't.
Why? I love softball. This sport won't ever leave my heart. I'm proud of the progression and recognition this sport is getting and has always deserved. A lot has gotten better! ..But there are some mechanics and fundamentals I just can't support and won't teach.
In the past, I received some feedback stating what I taught was "out dated" and "unsafe". I don't like to debate softball, pitching especially. All I know is I'm a retired softball pitcher with no issues caused by pitching to my arms, hips, back, or knees. With some pretty good stats. I must've done something right.
I used to be asked what's the "right way" to pitch and my answer was "you can pitch any form you'd like as long as it doesn't work against the health of your body, especially after you stop playing."
All in all, no I don't give lessons. I refuse to teach IR. In my opinion, I won't fix what's not broken. BUT I can recommend other pitching coaches. Or lead you to helpful videos.
But if you stay following, I'm turning this page into some cute and fun softball stuff! 💓🥎
(I don't know these ppl in the vid, just used it as reference.)
