Step away from the noise and return to yourself.

This deeply nourishing session invites you into the quieter dimensions of yoga, where meditation and yin become gateways to stillness, clarity, and inner transformation.

The practice begins with a guided seated meditation, cultivating a steady, receptive mind through mindfulness. From this place of presence, you’ll move into long-held yin and restorative postures that encourage the body to soften, the nervous system to settle, and the mind to become increasingly quiet.

As the body relaxes and the breath deepens, awareness naturally turns inward—creating space for deep rest, reflection, and connection with the subtle body.

Whether you’re looking to balance an active practice, reduce stress, or simply reconnect with yourself, this workshop offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down and experience yoga beyond the physical.

Strength or flexibility? The answer is both.

In this all-levels workshop, Kino will show you how these two qualities are not opposites, but partners. When cultivated together, they create a practice that is more stable, resilient, and free.

You’ll explore how to build strength that supports your joints while developing flexibility that is active, controlled, and sustainable—not forced. Through intelligent movement, mindful technique, and clear instruction, you’ll discover how to move with greater awareness, balancing effort and ease in every posture.

Whether you’re a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner, a yoga teacher, brand new to yoga, or simply looking to move better, this workshop offers practical tools that you can bring into every practice.

Ready to deepen your Second Series practice?

Join Kino for an in-depth exploration of Nāḍī Śodhana, the Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Together you’ll break down the more challenging postures through intelligent progressions, practical drills, and clear, accessible instruction.

Whether you’re beginning Intermediate Series or have been practicing it for years, this workshop will help you refine your technique, build the strength and mobility behind the practice, and gain a deeper understanding of the sequence.

This isn’t about achieving advanced poses—it’s about learning how to practice them with intelligence, confidence, and integrity.

Better Together✨

One of the greatest gifts of the Mysore method is that while the practice is deeply personal, it is never meant to be done alone. We breathe together, struggle together, grow together, and draw strength from the energy of a committed community.

As we move through this transition and begin practicing in different spaces, we're reminded that the true practice extends far beyond the walls of a shala. Where are you practicing right now? Who are you sharing your practice with? How are you digging deep to continue showing up for this life-changing and grounding practice, even in the midst of uncertainty and change?

Yoga teaches us that resilience is not the absence of challenge—it is the ability to remain steady through it. The discipline, courage, and wisdom cultivated on the mat become our foundation when life shifts beneath our feet.

The beautiful truth is that everything you need is already within you. The strength to continue. The courage to adapt. The steadiness to stay grounded. The practice simply helps you remember.

And while our locations may be different for now, our community remains connected through every breath, every sunrise practice, and every step forward.

Tag us and let us know where your practice is taking you this summer! We are, and always will be, better together. ✨🙏

And just like that… 18 years flew by, and our last class happened this past Saturday. 🤍

A beautiful practice surrounded by a room full of beautiful people. Some who have been with us from the very beginning, and others who joined us somewhere along the way. Every single one of you became part of this story.

The love in the room was deeply felt. It was more than a class — it was a celebration of years of dedication to this practice, to this community, and to each other.

The class was followed by a lovely meditation and sound bath, allowing us to pause, reflect, breathe together, and soak in the beauty of everything this shala has meant to all of us.

We feel incredibly proud and endlessly grateful for every moment we shared inside these walls. Every morning Mysore, every class, workshop, intensive, every conversation, every laugh, every challenge, every hug.

Thank you for allowing this little shala to become what it did for 18 beautiful years.

We say goodbye for now with full and happy hearts. Until we meet again, remember the practice is within you. All you have to do is get on your mat. 🤍

As Patanjali reminds us in Yoga Sutra 1.14, practice becomes firmly rooted when it is cultivated for a long time, without interruption, and with sincere devotion.

For a long time. Without interruption. With love.

These three simple teachings become especially meaningful during times of transition and uncertainty.

As our Shala enters this new chapter, it can be easy to lose momentum or wait until things feel “normal” again before recommitting to practice. But yoga teaches us that the deepest growth often happens when we continue showing up—not because conditions are perfect, but because the practice itself becomes our anchor.

The purpose of practice is not simply to master postures. Through abhyasa (steady practice) and vairagya (non-attachment), we gradually quiet the fluctuations of the mind and cultivate clarity, resilience, and inner peace. Every breath, every sun salutation, every moment of stillness is a reminder that the true practice lives within us, not within a building.

While we may be apart for a time, the thread that connects us remains unbroken. The discipline, wisdom, and community we have built together continue each time you step onto your mat.

So keep practicing. Practice for the long haul. Practice consistently. Practice with devotion. Trust that every effort is planting seeds that will continue to grow.

And when we come back together as a Shala, we will do so carrying the strength, steadiness, and insight cultivated during this time apart.

The practice continues. The community remains. The path is still unfolding. ✨🙏🏼✨

Tomorrow, May 30 at 9:00 AM, we invite you to join us for our final Led Primary Series at Yoga Shala San Antonio with Ana & Paulina. 🤍

After 18 beautiful years, we will gather one last time to breathe, move, practice, and share this space that has meant so much to all of us.

Following practice, we’ll close the morning with a sound bath and meditation — a moment to reflect, honor this chapter, and simply be together as a community.

Whether you’ve practiced with us for years or only recently found the shala, we would love to see you there.

We poured our hearts into this shala for 18 years.
Now that life is asking us to pause, reflect, and imagine a new way forward we want to thank you for every morning Mysore, every Saturday Led, every conversation, every challenge, every breakthrough, every laugh, and every moment shared inside these walls.

With all our love and gratitude,
Ana & Paulina
