Straight out of the CR Lab and officially joining the Coastal Republic lineup… meet NEWPORT VOODOO. 🧪🎣

This one is personal. Newport Voodoo is named after Newport Pass in Corpus Christi, TX, an area I fish often and one of those places that represents exactly what Coastal Republic is about — Texas water, Texas fishing, and baits inspired by the places we actually fish.

That electric green body is absolutely LOADED with black and purple flake, giving Newport Voodoo a nasty combination of visibility, contrast, and flash. And poured into our traditional RTK Dart rat-tail profile, you already know what kind of action this thing is bringing to the water. 👀🔥

🎣🔥 FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON ONE! 🔥🎣

Picked up a little something special from Mr. Ruben Sanchez himself at the 2nd Annual Battle Born Rodz Tournament this past weekend!

I’ve gotta say, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Seafoam Battle Born Rod for a MINUTE — and this weekend everything came together. Not only was Coastal Republic TX Bait Co. blessed with the opportunity to be part of an amazing tournament, but I got to meet, hang out with, and talk fishing with some truly great people from across the Texas fishing community.

And then I FINALLY got the rod I’ve been wanting. 🙌🏼🔥

Coming from someone with 100+ rod and reel setups in the collection, I don’t say this lightly… this BBR might just be the CROWN JEWEL of the entire collection. 👑🎣

The craftsmanship, attention to detail, feel, and that SEAFOAM finish… man, Ruben absolutely knocked this one out of the park! 💯

I paired it up with one of my Daiwa Tatula 2500s, and I’m telling y’all — IT FITS LIKE A GLOVE. 🤌🏼🔥
