This week, the Gunslingers took our preparation indoors, and we want to give a huge thank you to San Marcos High School for opening their indoor facility to us. Your support helped us stay focused and keep working.

Now it’s time to put that work to the test.

Saturday night’s halftime was packed with unforgettable moments! 🎉

We kicked things off with an incredible performance from our Jr. Six Shooters, who showcased the routines they learned at our recent dance and cheer clinic. They did an amazing job, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and confidence!

Next, we had the honor of recognizing this year’s Friends of Flint Scholarship recipients, celebrating their dedication, leadership, and achievements both in and out of the classroom.

As the team returned to the field for the second half, they were welcomed by members of Transplants for Children, an organization doing incredible work to support young transplant recipients and their families.

From future performers to outstanding students and inspiring young people overcoming challenges, we were honored to celebrate so many remarkable young leaders in one evening. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your stories! ❤️🤠

The San Antonio Gunslingers are excited to recognize an outstanding group of seniors during halftime of tomorrow’s game. These 16 students are the 2026 recipients of the Friends of Flint Scholarship.

Over the past six years, Friends of Flint has awarded more than $181,500 in scholarships to Texas high school students participating in 4-H and FFA programs, helping support the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Please join us in congratulating the 2026 Friends of Flint, Inc. Scholarship recipients on this incredible achievement! We are proud to celebrate their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. 🎉👏
