To all GST athletes and families… Thank you so much for all your energy, effort, and passion for the game of baseball. We are so thankful we were able to share the game with you throughout the past couple years.

We are excited to announce that Grand Slam Training and the Dawgs Baseball Club have officially been acquired by Alamo City Athletic Academy and are now home to the Texas Sun Devils Baseball Club!!

GST DAWGS 11U is looking to add a couple more players to our fall roster.

Grand Slam Training has fantastic development opportunities for our younger players, with all inclusive training regimens around strength and conditioning, fundamental skills, and overall player development. We play a Sunday league style schedule, with our focus being on the actual physical development and growth of the player.

If looking for a fall program and interested in one highly focused on the dynamic training of the player, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Practices will begin as soon as August 24th with games beginning September 4th.

No sign up needed - show during your slotted time.

8 & 9 & 10U @ 9am - 11am

11 & 12U @ 5pm - 7pm

13U @ 7 - 9pm

14 & 15U @ 12pm - 2pm

16/17/18U players interested please contact us individually to set up a workout. Looking to add a few players to those teams to fill out the rosters.

Looking for high school age summer teams interested in playing pre season games before summer tournament season begins.
15U - 18U teams welcome. Games will be played in a high school format, 7 innings under the lights. We will set-up field and umps. All teams split ump and field fees. No gate, coolers welcome!

GST Dawgs have a couple open roster spots for our 15U & 17/18U rosters this summer. Looking to add some dedicated HS ball players looking for a fully immersive training regimen and competitive exposure schedule.

All high school ball players in the San Antonio area, spring season is coming to a close! With that we know many of you are looking forward to your next challenge of summer baseball.

If you are still looking for a home to play this year, Grand Slam Training & The Dawgs Baseball Club will be hosting an open workout for all high school ages (15-18). The Dawgs will be looking to add a couple players, and we can help to find you another home as well if it doesn’t fit!

Dawgs BSBL is focused on the overall development of the player. Boasting a 30,000 sq. ft turfed indoor facility, housing all the baseball goodies you can imagine. Cages, bullpens, fielding sections and more. We also house a weight room within our facility for our weight training programs. We can confidently say that for those players looking to go the extra distance to chase their dreams, we are the place for you. Dawgs BSBL players look to exemplify a collegiate work ethic and discipline in their routine.

Dawgs H.S. Level teams play a highly competitive schedule, with in-state as well as out-of-state exposure events. Summer ‘22 tournaments including: Wichita State, Louisville, TCU, Baylor and more.

Come check out our facility, and get some extra reps in while you’re at it! See if the Dawgs may be a fit for you!

2022 is going to be a big year for the DAWGS‼️

And it starts today!

Dawgs BSBL Club is hosting its inaugural “Dawgs Poker Night” fundraiser.
Tonight, at Grand Slam Training @ 6pm

- The game will be Texas Hold-Em
- $40 donation to buy in, $20 re-buy
- Split pot - top 3 finishers get paid out.

BYOB/Food, & bring any family or friends. We will have the football games on. Will be a great time to get the Dawgs families together.

The goal of the event is to help create some opportunities for the Dawgs BSBL club to do that “little extra” for our boys this season. All proceeds will go directly toward funding/travel/resources for Dawgs players this season to provide the best experience we can.

Come hang out, crack a cold one, and take your buddies money on this wonderful New Year’s Day🍾🍻

Christmas break is almost here, which means tons of free time for BASEBALL‼️😄

GST wants to get the whole community involved! We will be holding OPEN WINTER WORKOUTS -

Monday(20th) / Tuesday(21st) / Wednesday(22nd) for all ages listed, all players. No cost for entry. Please attend the correct age group for yourself. Times remain the same all 3 days.

10 & 11U - 10am to 12pm
12 & 13U - 12pm to 2pm
14 & 15U - 2pm to 4pm
16/17/18U - 4pm to 6pm

We will have hitting/fielding drills for players to participate in with our coaches working with you close by, as well as some competitive wiffle ball to finish out your workout😎

Come get your extra swings in to stay locked in over the break, and have a little fun while you’re at it.
No reservations needed, just show up during your age slot, sign in and play!! Bring friends, family, whoever!

Becoming a great player is one thing, but can you create longevity in your career to see your body actually reach its peak? At GST we take the upmost pride in our arm care preparation for our athletes, and we are excited to share that knowledge with the community.

To kick off, we are excited to welcome all players and parents to join us in our arm health seminar with Dr. Travis Owens. Sunday afternoon - 3-5pm.

Dr. Owens, is a Sports medicine provider, injury prevention and rehab specialist, and Doctor to numerous collegiate pitchers. He is an expert in youth athletics and development and will be joining us Sunday, 3-5pm for a presentation on arm health as well as some Q&A.

$15 entry fee(per family) for seminar
All players attending the camp will get free entry to Sunday’s seminar.

All camp attendees must reserve their spot ahead of time. Limited spots are available.
