Hello, softball community! It has been a while since I have posted using this page, but I want to announce that I am again accepting athletes to train...effective immediately! Please send me a message to get more information about training sessions for hitting, fielding, pitching, and strength & conditioning. If you're looking for an affordable, experienced, and passionate coach for your athlete, please get in touch with me to set up a private training session focused on the skill of your/your athlete's choice! I work with athletes of all ages.

Hello everyone!

I would like to announce the start of Champion Softball and Strength Training lessons and camps for summer 2022. I will be available for individual and group lessons starting next week. To book a one-on-one lesson, get with me via direct message to reserve a day and time. Additionally, there will be 5 small-group hitting camps on June 8th, 11th , 15th, 18th, and 22nd. Spots are filling up fast for hitting camps, so please get with me to reserve your spot! There are still 4 spots in the June 8th camp, so it’s not too late to get signed up.

Coming off of a successful season at OLLU, I’m excited to share new ideas and help my athletes get into Champion form this summer!

Today’s lesson with Mia brought us to the conversation about CONFIDENCE. One of my goals as a coach is to help players realize their potential beyond being an athlete to ultimately be better people. Being comfortable with who you are and knowing you are enough is a beautifully powerful thing!! Be you. Always. The worlds a better place with you in it! ❤️

Very first lesson today with this kid was awesome! Kaileigh’s ability to talk me through what she felt on a swing was impressive! We had a great conversation about why it is important to feel body position and to recognize when it feels “off”. The fact that she has an understanding of this at only 10 is amazing! Great stuff to build off of for sure.

Extremely proud of this young lady’s work today! We learned what our new “feel good swings” should feel, look, and even sound like! She’s made tremendous progress in only two lessons with me. Such a difference in power!! 🤩🔥 I am glad I can be apart of her progress.

Incredibly proud of Angelina’s work today! We took the beginning really slow to emphasize the importance of feeling our body be in the right spots at contact. This definitely showed when it came time to hit front toss!! Talk about power and elevation! 🤯 Now to work on being more consistent!

We worked on how it feels to let our hands fly through the zone, and created elevation on balls today with Alyssa! Today was probably the best I’ve seen this athlete hit, and I am so proud of her. I loved the effort today and the fact that before I could say bring it up myself, she asked what she could work on on her own! That’s big time!! Love the dedication.

Jade’s first lesson was so great! We took some really great first steps in the right direction today, and we saw immediate improvement that even mom recognized! We had a conversation about what our contact point should look like, and this made it much easier for her to square up balls. We have so much more work to do, and to quote Jade, “I did good today, but I’m not there yet.” That’s great to hear my athletes say because 1. She recognizes there’s room for improvement and 2. She WANTS to get better! I absolutely love it!!! 🤩

This morning, I was reminded by my 7 year old athlete how much of an impact we can have on others as softball players! This athlete took a break from softball, but after tuning into this past Women’s College World Series tournament she was motivated to get back to the game! This is one of my favorite things about being a leader. Getting the chance to inspire others to do more is something so valuable, and I am glad softball is one of the ways I can accomplish this.
To all you softball players: someone is always watching, so conduct yourself with pride, don’t be afraid to give back, and be a positive example for the little girls with big dreams because that was you not too long ago!
