Asst. Coach & Pitching Coach Danny Dial.

Danny Dial is a former relief pitcher and current college baseball coach at Texas A&M International NCAA D2 Lonestar Conference. His baseball background and playing career details include: Collegiate Playing Career: Pitcher at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), making 15 appearances out of the bullpen and recording 23 strikeouts in his top campaign. JUCO & High School: Prior to joining the Dustdevils, he pitched at Wharton County Junior College (where he earned All-Conference honors) and San Benito High School (where he tallied 128 strikeouts in a single season). Coaching Role: Transitioned into coaching to help unexposed South Texas players find collegiate homes.

Coach Dial has a love for the game and has a heart to help young men build the essential tools that will help men be strong leaders in their families and communities. Welcome aboard Asst. & Pitching Coach Danny Dial.

Coach Gavin Machado's extensive collegiate playing experience and successes makes him a solid choice for leading program into our future. Coach Machado's love for the game, his baseball IQ and his heart for seeing our young men develop made him the prime candidate for this new season of Texas Reds Post Grad.

Coach Biography:

Gavin Machado brings a strong playing background and a passion for development to the coaching world. A Houston native, Machado was a standout at Clear Brook High School, earning First-Team All-District, First-Team All-Greater Houston, Second-Team All-State, and Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American honors. He was also a Team MVP and Houston.

Over his collegiate career, Machado played at UTSA, Panola College, Galveston College, JSAO, and Our Lady of the Lake University. He consistently contributed both on the field, and in. the classroom, being named to multiple All Academic Teams. His highlights include leading.

Galveston to its first regional in over a decade, hitting over .300 in consecutive seasons at USAO, and earning Second-Team All-Conference honors in his final year at OLLU.
Now transitioning into coaching, Machado is dedicated to passing on the knowledge and experience gained from 7 years of college baseball. With a foundation in leadership, high-level performance, and academic excellence, he is committed to helping athletes grow on and off the field.

Welcome to the Texas Reds Post Grad Fall 2026 & Spring 2026 Program:

Caleb Bernal MIF/UTL Victoria East HS, Victoria, Texas 2026. Caleb has the foundational pieces in which we can build upon. Competing through our Collegiate Baseball Schedule while getting bigger, faster and stronger is critical to becoming an impact player at the next level. It’s amazing how what schredding down and getting legitimate college reps against NCAA D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO programs does to a young man fully locked in to the process. We will keep you posted on his progress.

First DH in the Fall will be versus Ranger D1 JUCO or Our Lady of the Lake University NAIA. Let’s gooo!

Juan Adame UTL/C from Cypress Lake HS. We are fired up to bring Juan on board with his athletic multi position player abilities. Commitment Alert!

It’s our pleasure to announce that Joshua Munoz RHP college transfer just committed to Our Lady of the Lake University as a PO. Joshua received a solid offer from OLLU making it easy to say yes to the opportunity. Josh’s prayer was to stay in San Antonio because being closer to family was important to his hearts desire. We are glad Josh chose to come to Texas Reds and spend time with our Spring Team.
We thank God for the door of opportunity and are looking forward to seeing him on blue and white.
