If your saddle fitter isn’t WATCHING you ride as a part of the fitting, they are NOT doing a complete job! Here at The British Touch, the saddle-fitting experience goes beyond the barn aisle. When watching the horse and rider under saddle, small adjustments are made to achieve the perfect fit for the horse and ensure the rider is comfortable and balanced.

Continued education is so important, and it looks different for everybody. The last 3 days were incredibly insightful, seeing the 18th rib in real life, the transverse processes, where the internal organs are situated, the fascia! I'll be processing this for some time and reevaluating pretty much everything I thought I knew!

One thing that will not change though, is that the horse must ALWAYS come first. Saddle fit is just one part of a huge array of subjects that must be considered and regularly addressed in order to ride your horse(s). Never stop learning 💝

I do love delivery day!!!

Karen Mischka and Haiku here, sporting their beautiful new "Velocity" jump/cross country saddle.

The Velocity has a secure and close contact feel. With a forward cut, fixed block flap and most importantly, AIR flocked for the perfect fit!

The Velocity is my personal favorite from the jump saddle range, and if I ever make it back to eventing, it will be an essential part of my kit!
