💪⛳ Get a Grip – Part 2: Building Grip Strength
Did you know that grip strength is one of the most overlooked components of the golf swing?
A stronger grip helps golfers maintain club control throughout the swing, improve consistency, generate more clubhead speed, and reduce unwanted movement at impact. As fatigue sets in during a round, grip strength becomes even more important for maintaining solid contact and accuracy.
In Part 2 of the Get a Grip series, Dick Logan PGA shares three simple training tools he uses to build stronger hands, wrists, and forearms:
✅ Hand Gripper
✅ SuperSpeed Golf Oversized Grips
✅ Weight-on-a-Rope Exercise (twisting the hands to raise and lower the weight)
These exercises help develop the muscles responsible for controlling the clubface and creating a more stable, repeatable swing.
Remember: You don't need a stronger swing if you can't control the club. Start by building a stronger grip and create a better foundation for your entire game.
