MarinMMA is the home of 4th degree Gracie Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt Mikyo Riggs. Mikyo has trained with world class fighters in Jiu Jitsu and MMA. He has competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Muay Thai Kickboxing and learned from top champions in wrestling, boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. His students have titles in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, and Mixed Martial Arts competitions. Congrats to all of our competitors at the U.S.Open!

Noah did his first purple belt competition and came out with 3 gold medals and 1 silver! Not bad for getting his purple belt 1 week ago. Germaine also earned double gold!
Thomas earned silver. Eric earned bronze. Great showing for the team! Proud of everyone.

Congratulations to all our students who earned promotions at our 2024 winter graduation ceremony. This might have been the most belts I have ever given at one promotion. I am very proud of all the students and their hard work and dedication to our team. It’s a great honor to award a student a new belt. Jiu jitsu has been my life for over 30 years beginning in the early 90s. My style, philosophy, techniques, and legacy are represented in the belt I give. Thank you everyone. Much love and respect.
