Word on the water is that SDBA/KDBA drag boat racing may be making a comeback! 👀💦

If the rumors are true, you KNOW we’re ready to get back to the water, fire those engines, and make some noise! 🤘🔥

Stay tuned… because something tells us this might just be the comeback we’ve all been waiting for! 🏁💨

As our season comes to an end, it’s hard not to reflect on just how much this year has meant to us.

Coming back after being away from racing for two years was both exciting and nerve-racking. We didn’t know what to expect, but one thing that never disappointed us was the incredible love and support we received from all of you. Every message, every comment, every person cheering us on from the shoreline, and every sponsor who believed in us reminded us why we love this sport so much.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing racing family behind us. Your encouragement kept us motivated through every pass, every late night in the shop, and every mile traveled.

We’re definitely disappointed that the IHRA season came to an end sooner than we had hoped, because we weren’t ready for it to be over. But we’re leaving this season with our heads held high, proud of everything we accomplished and grateful for everyone who was part of the journey.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s just the beginning of what’s next. We’ll be spending the off-season working harder than ever, making improvements, and getting ready for a kick-ass comeback next year. We can’t wait to be back on the water doing what we love with all of you beside us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Texas High Risk. We’ll see you next season—stronger, faster, and more determined than ever. 🏁🚤💙

One thing we’re especially proud of this season is our driver.

It takes more than horsepower to win races. It takes confidence, focus, consistency, and the ability to make split-second decisions at over 100 mph. Time after time, he climbed into that boat and drove the hell out of it.

No matter the conditions, he kept the boat straight, stayed calm under pressure, and gave our team everything he had every single pass. A great driver can make all the difference, and we’re lucky to have one of the best behind the wheel.

We’re proud of everything he accomplished this season and can’t wait to see what next year has in store. The future is bright, and we know he’s only getting better.

🏁 IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS! 🏁
We're heading into the World Finals sitting 6th out of 14 registered boats in our class, and we're ready to leave it all on the water!
What a season it's been! This was the first year the IHRA has taken over the boat racing series after years of success in powersports, and while it's definitely had its ups and downs, we're excited about what's ahead and believe even bigger things are coming next season!
Unfortunately, the Grove, Oklahoma race has been canceled by the IHRA, which means San Angelo is officially the FINAL race of the season! It's our last shot to climb the standings, and we're going all in!
To our incredible fans, family, friends, and sponsors—THANK YOU! Your support, encouragement, and belief in us make it possible for the Texas High Risk Racing Team to do what we love. We couldn't chase this dream without every one of you.

Behind every great pass is a great driver. We couldn’t be more proud of ours. He does exactly what he’s supposed to do every time he straps in—keeps the boat straight, keeps it in the water, stays focused, and gives us the best chance to win every pass.

Driving one of these boats takes skill, confidence, and trust, and he continues to prove he’s one of the best. We may have finished second this weekend, but his consistency and determination are a huge part of why we were on the numbers all weekend long.

We’re proud to have him behind the wheel, and we’re excited to see what the rest of the season has in store. 🏁🚤

What a weekend in San Angelo with the IHRA Drag Boat Series! We were on the numbers all weekend long, and the boat ran great every pass. We gave it everything we had and came up just a little short, finishing in second place.

While we always race for the win, we’re proud of the consistency, the hard work, and the performance we showed all weekend. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us, cheered us on, and to our incredible sponsors and crew who make it all possible.

We’ll take this momentum into the next race and keep pushing for that top spot. See y’all at the next one! 🏁🚤

Headed to San Angelo in about 8 days and looking forward to an awesome weekend of drag boat racing! There’s nothing quite like being at the water, watching some of the fastest boats in the country make passes and spending time with great friends and fans who share the same passion for the sport.

A huge thank you to IHRA for putting on these events and giving racers, teams, families, and fans the opportunity to enjoy what we love to do. It takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make these race weekends happen, and we’re grateful to be a part of it.

Safe travels to everyone making the trip. We can’t wait to see y’all in San Angelo for a weekend full of fast boats, great memories, and good times on the water! 🏁🚤💨
