2024 Florida Southern Ground Pounders Started in 2019 by Tobi Smith bringing classic race cars and the families that field them to the track and have fun.

Three classes of race cars and all levels of drivers compete at our home track of New Smyrna Speedway, a half-mile asphalt oval track.

As a Home Track champion for the Florida Southern Ground Pounders he is invited to walk across the stage at Daytona. We are proud to have Art and his team racing with the 2024 Florida Southern Ground Pounders. His example of professionalism, skill and his enjoyment of the sport is inspiring. Sept 12 is our next Florida Southern Ground Pounders race at New Smyrna Speedway. Save your wrist bands from Saturday night. I do not know if there will be a make up race from Saturday nights rain out. Till later race fans do your maintenance
