🏁 WHAT A WEEKEND!! 🏁

This weekend we attended Round 4 of the NorthEast Titan .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Oaklane Quarter Midget Speedway and what a weekend it was!

We went into this event with plans, backup plans, and everything in between to give Jackson the best shot possible.

🏁 HEAVY HONDA — Saturday was, by far, one of the best days of racing our team has had in a while!

Jackson’s heat didn’t go quite as planned after the car started dragging, which put him 10th for the A Main. After talking with some of our buddies and getting some advice on how to improve the car, we made our changes and sent him out.

As soon as the green flag dropped, Jackson was ready to go! After some clean, hard-fought battles with a few of his friends, he drove his way from 10th to 3rd and held onto that spot all the way to the checkered flag! 🥉🏁

This was Jackson’s first competitive podium in a Titan Regional event since his blue rookie days, and we truly couldn’t be more proud of him! ❤️

💔 HEAVY WORLD FORMULA — Sunday was definitely a heartbreaker.

This was Jackson’s first time racing with the new BRE motor, and we were so excited to see what it could do. During his heat, we noticed the car had the speed but was extremely difficult to handle. After a tough heat, we once again made some significant changes.

After cheering on our friends and celebrating with the Kaminski family and Adrian on his Jr. Animal win 🏆, we sent Jackson back out feeling confident.

The race was definitely messy, but we could see the car continuing to drag more and more. Even with that happening, Jackson fought his way from 7th all the way up to 3rd again.

Unfortunately, during a caution for another driver, Jackson stopped near the pits after something ripped a huge hole through his belly panel near his heel, causing him significant pain. Once we got him back to the pits, we realized just how serious the situation was. Several people tried to come up with a way to get him back out there, but ultimately, it was a safety issue that neither our team nor the race director was willing to risk.

While Sunday’s show definitely didn’t end the way we wanted, we are still riding high from Jackson’s podium on Saturday! 🥉🏁

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us throughout the weekend — from answering setup questions and helping push cars, to providing the rocket ship engines that keep us going and cheering Jackson on no matter what. We truly couldn’t do this without our racing family. ❤️🏁

🏁 And we’re on the road!! 🏁

This weekend, we’re headed to PA for Round 4 of the NorthEast Titan .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Oaklane Quarter Midget Speedway!

We officially have all of our motors back, so Jackson will be running his Heavy Honda and Heavy World Formula this weekend!

Practice starts tonight at 6 PM! We’ll keep you updated throughout the weekend as usual.
