At this stage we know just about every buck on the properties. So no new deer to report just the last bit of growth. The winter food plots are all in & lucky enough to get 2 nice rains. Here are 3 bucks that haven't shown themselves a lot.

It' been a couple weeks now but the deer are eating good.Went to Georgia & got 6 tons of 20% protein pellets & 1 ton of 4S Wildlife Solutions draw for corn topper attraction. Looking forward to 1st Saturday in September. For all you bow hunters start your practices & get your bow tuned.

Good Friday morning hunters I hope you were able to get in the deer woods for opening of archery. I would first say don't ever forget today(9/11) when the greatest place on earth was attacked by terrorist. Ok now we had a rough week of harvesting but we did let quite a few arrows fly. The second week hunters have plenty to look forward too. Take a look at some of the bucks on a couple other farms. Just to keep your interest up i am holding back a couple of BOONER pictures for later.

Everyone traveling to Ky. for the archery open drive safe & good luck. Don"t forget if you stick one & cant recover it hit the Michigan Tracker Network up on f/b & they will find it if its a lethal hit. Remember if its not a mature buck do the heard a favor & take a doe for meat. QDMA will only make our great hunting better.

Watching the weather this morning and seeing that we could possibly reach the upper 40"s. That has me thinking about bow season opener Saturday. All you bow hunters wear your safety equipment & good luck. If you stick a deer & cant find it back out & get in touch with a tracker. The Michigan Tracker Network will be at Our place the first week. They have outstanding people/dog teams who really know their stuff. They put thousands of hours training and working the craft. You wont find better folks I know because we have used them ourselves.
