We are deeply saddened by the loss of Tommy Reese. Tommy started his career at Bonneville, as the assistant to Dick Kramer in the 1950s. He would then become the first head professional at Glendale, when it opened in 1973. When he retired in 2000, he left his mark on Salt Lake City golf for many generations of golfers to come. A mentor to so many golf professionals in the area, Tommy will be remembered for his charming personality, and welcoming everyone to the game of golf.

Emilee Hoffman’s path to the Utah Women’s Open started in California, ran through Texas and the Epson Tour, and landed in Salt Lake City thanks to a love story backed by her golf game. With a steady 36-hole even par performance, Hoffman held off a charging Haley Sturgeon to win the 2025 Larry H. Miller Utah Women’s Open at The Country Club.
